The girls LOVE bully sticks! I bought some recently on eBay for a great price. They're quite big(12" or more) and curly. I guess the curliness makes for fun chewing. Interestingly enough, it doesn't seem to slow them down! They each scoffed one down in about 30 minutes. No bull!
Gus and Waldo love them, too. We never thought of getting them on ebay! Gus makes his way through his pretty quickly--Waldo is much slower.

BARK! We eat our big bone treats in about an hour too. They are yummy! Mommy wants to know of those are rawhide, becuase we are not allowed those. If not, we want some too. BARK! Sasha the Princess
ReplyDeleteSasha, bully sticks are bull tendons. They don't get all slimy and cause obstructions like rawhide. The girls don't get rawhide either. Check out eBay for good prices on all sorts and sizes of bully sticks. You'll LOVE them!

We get the big 36" ones and it probably takes him 3-4 hrs to finish and he's a strong chewer (he has destroyed every toy I can find including his black kong!), of course we take it away after about and hour. They are a wopping 12 bucks a piece though, Ill have to check out ebay..thanks!
ReplyDeleteJanelle, I've never seen the HUGE 36" ones. Just looked on eBay and they have them! They're not $12 each either! Thanks for the tip, I'll get some big ones. The girls are pretty fierce chewers too.
